Overview for the Wixey Digital Fraction Calipers
The Wixey Digital Caliper with Fractions is a high-quality, precise unit for basic caliper needs.
These calipers are crafted from hardened and ground stainless steel components, of high quality. It has a large display for easy reading. It reads in display units of inches with fractions or millimeters. The smallest units of measure are: 0.001 inch, 1/64 inch, and 0.05 millimeters. It has an accuracy of +/- 0.001 inch, +/- 1/500 inch, and +/- 0.05 millimeters. The caliper is easy to handle and measures up to 6". It works with a CR2032 battery and has an approximate battery life of 6 months of continuous use.
This digital caliper is not lacking in feature functions. For quick calibration, pressing the on button when the caliper’s jaws are closed, automatically calibrates it to 0.000. If you’d like to set the measurement reading to 0.000 while the jaws are open, simply press the “Zero” button and the calipers reset. Another handy feature is the auto-off feature. After about 30 minutes the calipers will turn off completely (using no power at all), thereby extending the battery’s life.
NOTE: Fractions display only when the conversion is +/- 0.02” of the decimal equivalent.

The Wixey dual display digital caliper is the only fractional caliper available that displays both the fraction and the decimal equivalent at the same time. With these calipers you can ensure accuracy by reading the fraction and the decimal equivalent at the same time so you know that 1/2" is exactly .5", not .51" or .49". This may not seem like much until you look at the gap around the edge banding you just inlaid into a one-of-a-kind table! Constructed of high-quality hardened and ground stainless steel components featuring a large easy-to-read display that reads in inches with fractions or millimeters. The fractions are displayed using "precise fraction technology" which gives extremely accurate fraction readouts. The decimal inches are displayed in .001" increments and the millimeters in .01mm increments.These calipers incorporate precision measuring features found in top-of-the-line measuring tools used in metal working. The precision ground measuring faces allow for outside, inside, depth and step measurements.
