Unit is guaranteed to work. This unit has been directly replaced by the model SVC-100. This unit is very similar but it is a Monochrome display. There are a lot of specifications in here that may not apply to this current unit because of the options that these things can have. For instance, the SVC is a color display but this is a monochrome display.

SmartView SVC/SVM Videographic Recorder:
The SMARTVIEW Videographic Recorder is actually a miniature data acquistion system. The SVC displays data with exceptional calrity on an active matrix color LCD display with touchscreen control. Display modes include: trend, bargraph, and digial. Data can be compressed in time and scale or searched for by time/date and alarm conditions.
Real time information can be viewed while simultaneously storing historical data on either a PC card or 3.5" floppy disk. Historical data can be read on the SmartView direclty or on a PC from a PC or floppy disk, or exported to a PC for use in spreadsheets, database or analytical software packages via an addressable RS485 or RS232 serial port. This recorder will meaure and process up to twleve channers. These channels include up to six directy inputs consisting of linear, square root, and logarithmic voltage and currnet inputs, and a wide variety of RTDs and thermocouples, plus up to six addtional external, conditional or calculated points.
