    Description

BMDS DAS-6003 Data Acquisition System Reader-Programmer
BMDS DAS-6003 Data Acquisition System Reader-Programmer
This set is in good condition and works as far as I could test it. It powers up, the lights on the probe light up when buttons are pressed, and I was able to navigate the menu and enter variables. Buyer gets choice of probes, see pics.
A Reader-Programmer streamlined for high performance.
Designed for tight spaces and packed with many of the innovative features that make the DAS-6000 series the industry’s leading data acquisition systems, the DAS-6003 Tower System is seamlessly integrated with all BMDS Smart Probes and transponders. The DAS-6003 collects transponder data from BMDS handheld devices, organizes it within a database format, and shares this data with a broad range of personal computers and digital devices.
    Compact, slim size.
Designed to fit tight spaces, the DAS-6003 Tower System stands just 6 inches high and 4 inches wide. The unit’s small footprint fits onto any bench-top surface and mobile workstation cart.
    Easily edit and program data.
A handy Metal Dome Membrane keypad makes it easy to program transponders and edit data. Although slightly smaller than the DAS-6001 and DAS-6002, an enhanced Vacuum Fluorescent Display is easy to read, featuring a convenient help menu, two large character lines of viewing, a higher fluorescent brightness level and innovative wide-view angle than typical reader screens. This enables the DAS-6003 to operate as a stand-alone data acquisition system at any workstation.
A port for every data task.
The DAS-6003 features nine data ports to fit every data connection need. The Probe input port connects to BMDS Smart Probes that read transponders. The A and B serial ports collect data measurements from scales and electronic calipers as well as a barcode reader. A USB port connects to personal computers and other digital devices. With the PS-2 port connection, a keyboard can be plugged directly into the DAS-6003.

    Frequently asked questions
    How are you?
About the same, thanks for asking.
So what's included in your listing?
Everything you see in the pictures and nothing you don't.
    Anything else?
    I'll throw in a box.
    Oh, a smart guy, eh?
In case that's not rhetorical: I'm no expert, and I'm certainly not smart enough to know about everything that passes my way. I do my best to evaluate the things I sell, but often defer to the superior knowledge of the prospective buyer.
    Will you ever learn?
    Probably not.
What if the item I buy from you doesn't work?
You have 30 days from receipt to return it for a refund if it doesn't do as I describe.
What if I don't like the color?
    Then you have 14 days.
If I tell you how crappy and obsolete your item is in a condescending enough tone, will you do me the favor of selling it to me for a fraction of your asking price?
    No.
Can I pick up my winnings in person?
I don't know you well enough to know your capabilities.
    OK, may I?
    Certainly!
    Did I forget anything?
What am I, a mind reader?
Will you discuss these imaginary conversations with your psychiatrist?
The conversations are quite real, it's you who are imaginary.
    You just blew my mind.
